A little bit about the departement of the Lot-et-Garonne (southwest France).

The Lot-et-Garonne is called after its two principal rivers. The Garonne is one of the major rivers in France, running from the Pyrenees to the Atlantic at Bordeaux. The Lot rises in the Massif Central and flows through some of the most beautiful scenery in France to join the Garonne north west of Agen, the departement’s administrative capital on the Garonne, about half way between Bordeaux and Toulouse, each about 120 kms away.
